On International Women’s Day (8th March), meet the team of Highland women crofters who are setting their sights on space travel to supercharge new opportunities for their local Sutherland community. The women who lead the Melness Crofters’ Estate are behind the plans to bring a spaceport to the area. The volunteers dedicate their free time to managing the estate, ensuring good husbandry of the land and look for new opportunities to benefit the local community.
